Pamela A. Walton, Esq.
Ms. Walton was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 18, 1964.  After a serious accident that rendered her a paraplegic, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in criminal justice and a minor in English from Kent State University in 1989. In 1992, she earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University College of Law.

Ms. Walton is a member of the Florida Bar, Workers' Compensation Section of the Florida Bar, and has been appointed to the Animal Law Committee.  She is also a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Tampa Bay Business Guild. 

Ms. Walton is an avid animal lover and is one of the first lawyers in Florida to devote significant time to animal law and related issues. In addition to her workers’ compensation law practice, Ms. Walton represents animal owners and other parties in animal law cases.

Ms. Walton has participated in numerous hearings and appeals dealing with a variety of the complex issues that arise in workers’ compensation and related fields. She has also acheived favorable results in several animal law cases through both negotiation and litigation. In addition, she has served as an expert witness in numerous workers’ compensation attorney fee hearings and has served as lead counsel representing a third party administrator in a multi-million dollar dispute between it and a self insured fund resulting in a favorable conclusion. 

Ms. Walton is a Florida Supreme Court Circuit Civil Certified Mediator and is available to mediate in Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk Counties.

She is also an instructor approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services - Education Section to instruct CE 3-24a Adjuster Law and Policy courses and available to provide continuing education credits for claims professionals.
